do is to order the DVDs and to stock the machines each week
with new titles. These machines have the ability to sell
DVDs in addition to just doing rentals. The sale price can
be set individually for each movie in the machine. The machines
can be remotely monitored by the Internet at all times -
the kiosk operator can see which titles are rented in each
machine at all times, and can see all of the transactions

This is a web site run by another individual who owns several
of these kiosks and we have banded together to help each
other and to leverage our collective power. The final web

These people import the kiosks from China and resell them
to individual distributors in North America. The reason
that it is better to buy this existing business than to
purchase the machines directly from the importer is because
these machines are up and running properly, whereas sometimes
the new machines are damaged when they are imported and
shipped from China. It is time consuming to wait for machines
to be replaced or fixed, these machines are already in operation.
Second, these machines have already been located at popular
Boston area universities, where the students enjoy renting
movies frequently and the machines are well known. 2 Machines
are included for sale with this business, the current retail
price for these machines is $20,000 each. Thousands of dollars
in current (2007) DVD inventory is included in this price.
RFID tags, orientation stickers, and personalized training
is also part of the sale price of this business.
It
is possible for other vendors to advertise directly on the
kiosks. I have not had time to pursue this but I know there
are businesses who are interested in doing advertising on
the machine (delivery services, pizza take out restaurants,
etc.). In addition, if someone were interested in relocating
one of the kiosks, I have many leads on places that have
expressed interest in hosting a machine. I'd be happy to
share all of that information with the new buyer. I would
love to keep this business but I am expecting another baby
in March and I will not have sufficient time to devote to
this business. This is a fun and exciting industry and I
have thoroughly enjoyed getting things set up. The machines
have been installed since March and April of 2007, so I
